Digital camera to a trinocular microscope head that has been fitted with a "c" mount video coupler.
A "c" mount means that the output side has a 1"x32t camera mounting thread and an image located at 17.5mm from the mounting shoulder. Thales Optem couplers are available for all major brands of microscopes. To minimize optical performance problems, a 1X video coupling system is recommended.

The 3 piece adapter may be purchased as an equipment split (25-70-14-03) or as individual items. The thread converters are purchased separately as required.

Installation:
The "C" Mount Coupler is threaded onto the "c" mount video port. The stabilizing clamp is slipped over the "C" mount coupler. Thread converters are added to the digital camera as required. The digital coupler is attached to the camera and then inserted into the stabilizing clamp.
